We're hiring a Credit Support Post Closing Specialist to join our Souderton team.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of post-closing duties for commercial and consumer loans in adherence to Univest lending policies and guidelines.
Analyze loan documents to determine necessary documentation needed to support requests.
Track receipt and verification of original loan documents.
Enter required documents and financial requirements/covenants into the tracking system based on approved loan terms and conditions.
Identify Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting requirements, and accurately enter data into the system following regulatory guidelines. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Uniform Commercial Code of Business.
Scan, identify and label executed loan documents into Synergy and nCino Salesforce, while importing supporting documents from commercial files.
Verify that loan documents are correctly uploaded into Synergy for consumer lending processes. Label and file in the correct vault.
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial loan documentation, real estate lending concepts, and relevant terminology. Understanding of Univest lending policy guidelines is advantageous. Knowledge of consumer loans, including Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs) and other direct personal lending products.
Decision-Making Skills: Ability to identify commercial and real estate loan documents and make independent decisions that align with Univest’s policies and guidelines, demonstrating accuracy and integrity.
Work Ethic: Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting. Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities under time constraints with minimal supervision.
Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent organizational abilities.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Proficient in addressing challenges and capable of thinking creatively when faced with unusual situations.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrates a keen eye for detail, ensuring thoroughness and precision in all tasks.
