Overview:

The Program Manager will oversee select new store and remodel service programs and related functions as an integral part of NDCP’s Restaurant Solutions. Responsibilities will include freight and installation bid management, national network development, and overall program performance and oversight. It will also include additional project and program management opportunities as assigned. This position will contribute to the growth and profitability of Dunkin’ by ensuring timely execution of high-quality services at the lowest sustainable cost to the Dunkin’ franchisees on behalf of NDCP.

Restaurant Solutions has procurement and supply chain responsibilities for indirect products and services, such as kitchen equipment, smallwares, custom fabrication, distribution, and consolidation programs, construction materials, furnishings, lighting, signs, and store level services. The Program Manager will report directly to the Associate Director, Restaurant Solutions. NDCP and this position are located in Duluth, GA.

Responsibilities:

Freight Program Management:

Establish freight and logistics network of approved carriers and providers.

Source and negotiate optimal freight pricing as an integral part of NDCP’s new store and remodel competitive bid process.

Manage and coordinate the logistics of new store and remodel packages, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective transportation.

Develop program options to accommodate varying needs of franchisee (members).

Installation Program Management:

Establish and maintain a list of qualified local installers for various projects.

Request and evaluate installation bids, ensuring competitive pricing and quality service.

Coordinate with installers to gather necessary information and clarify project details.

Communicate installation schedules and requirements to ensure smooth execution.

Develop program options to accommodate varying needs of franchisee (members).

 Vendor Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with all assigned vendors under management.

Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors leveraging the Dunkin’ system to secure competitive contractual agreements and pricing.

Project Oversight:

Coordinate with internal teams to align on project requirements and timelines.

Track and report on project progress and status.

Monitor schedules, manage performance, and address any issues or delays.

Ensure all projects adhere to budget, quality, and schedule standards.

General Program & Project Management (As Assigned)

Oversight or integral team member for other NDCP Restaurant Solution based programs, projects, and responsibilities. Examples may include:

Inventory management

3rd party channel partner management

Large or high-profile franchise (member) network relationship management

Dropship program management

CML (commissary) support

International project support

Combo new store/remodel support

Supervision Exercised

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in freight management including supplier, cost, risk, and relationship management.

Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain, logistics, business, or a construction related field of study.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) required; proficiency with SAP and/or Smartsheet (or project management software) is a plus.

Collaborative, “team first” approach with proven ability to develop strong business relationship and manage effectively.

Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

Proven organizational and project management capabilities including ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive and dedicated with a drive for quality and results.

Experience with restaurant remodel projects and knowledge of installation networks a plus, but not required.

Other Requirements

Limited amount of travel may be required.
