Overview:
The Learning Management Administrator and Coordinator is responsible for the management, support, and administration of ACI’s learning management platforms. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the LMS, including user management, course content updates, and troubleshooting technical issues. The Learning Management Administrator and Coordinator works closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Learning, and other members of the Training and Development department, to ensure the system meets the organization’s Training and Development needs. This includes but is not limited to, configuring and customizing the LMS, generating reports, maintaining data integrity, and providing training and support to users. Additionally, the Learning Management Administrator and Coordinator stays current with system updates, trends, and best practices to enhance the learning experience. The Learning Management Administrator and Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations of online learning platforms, supporting both learners and instructors to optimize the learning experience and ensure the effective delivery of educational programs.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
LMS Administration:
Manage the daily operations and maintenance of the learning management system (LMS)
Configure and update the LMS platform, including user roles, permissions, and settings
Maintain course catalogs, user profiles, and system documentation
User Support and Training:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LMS users, including students, instructors, and administrators
Assist learners with course access, registration issues, or technical difficulties related to the LMS
Train instructors, course developers, and other staff on how to use the LMS effectively
Course Management:
Set up courses and training programs within the LMS, ensuring that all required content, assessments, and materials are available
Upload, organize, and manage digital learning content, such as e-learning modules, videos, and assessments
Work with Instructional Designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and Trainers to ensure proper course delivery and structure within the LMS
Data and Reporting
Monitor LMS usage and generate reports on learner progress, course completions, and system activity
Analyze training data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement
Assist in the creation of custom reports to support learning and development objectives
System Updates and Integrations:
Coordinate with IT or the LMS provider to implement software updates, patches, and new releases
Ensure LMS compatibility with other enterprise systems (HR systems, content libraries, etc.)
Assist with LMS integrations, such as Single Sign-On (SSO) or third-party tools
Content and Compliance Management:
Ensure all training materials and content within the LMS meet company standards and compliance requirements
Manage version control of course materials and ensure updates are properly implemented
Track and manage certifications, licenses, and other compliance-related training within the system
Process Improvement:
Identify and recommend improvements to LMS functionality, processes, and learner experience
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve content delivery and enhance the user experience
Stay informed of the latest trends and developments in e-learning and LMS technologies

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Proficiency with learning management systems and associated technologies (SCORM, xAPI, etc.)
Familiarity with e-learning content creation tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web technologies is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to users at various skill levels
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of learning and development principles, including instructional design and adult learning theory
Experience working in a corporate or academic setting managing large-scale training programs
Education and Experience:
Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Information Technology, or a related field
1-3 years of experience working with learning management systems, preferably in an LMS administration or coordinator role
Experience with LMS platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, Cornerstone, or similar systems.
