Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Job Role

Overseas sales for Manitowoc, Grove, National, Manitex, and Broderson Cranes.

Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals, and advises dealers, distributors and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.

Assigns sales territory to sales personnel.

Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.

Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.

Tracks all quotes including jobs won, jobs pending, jobs lost and jobs developing as required.

Supervises employees on the administrative team in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include recruitment, assignment of work and all aspects of performance management.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Formal Education High School diploma or GED

Experience 5-6 years

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

5 to 10 years’ experience in Sales and with related products and equipment.

Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic computer skills.

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements occasionally change requiring re-training to stay current every 3-5 years.
