Nutrition Office Operator

Shift: Part-time; Mostly night shift hours 10:30 - 7:00 pm / 3 - 7 Pm / weekends 10:30 - 7pm

Responsibilities:
Maintains telephone customer service standards
Demonstrates accuracy and clarity in both verbal and written communications.
Acts as a liaison between the customer and the nutrition services department.
Provides basic diet information as patient interaction requires to facilitate patient understanding of foods that are compliant and non-compliant with diet order
Ensures floor stock sheets are completed and given to the tray line.
Demonstrates a commitment to service breakthrough through personal example and prompt follow up on opportunities to improve service.
Demonstrates sound making decisions and taking responsibility for the decision.
Demonstrates teamwork in the performance of duties
Maintains HIPPA standards during interactions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
18 years of age
Computer skills and ability to type
Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets
Customer service skills
Accountability,
Good Decision making
Flexibility
Collaboration with others
Leadership Skills
Teamwork
Customer and patient focused
Knowledge of Microsoft and computer programs.
Ability to clarify speak to customers via telephone
Ability to rotate positions throughout the area
Ability to rotate day and evenings.
Preferred:
At least 1 year of hospital nutrition experience preferred.
Ability to problem solve
Managing Priorities and deadlines
Teamwork
