Overview:
The Highlands is seeking a new Guest Services Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for supervising guest service team members in various roles such as bellman, pool attendant, and concierge. You will also be interacting with guests, keeping your team informed on activities within the resort, and working with other departments in a variety of ways. This is a full-time, year-round beneficial position with flexible scheduling, PTO/Sick time, health insurance, and much more!

Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.
Provide quality service to guests by responding to requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, checkout, and throughout the stay.
Remain aware of all pertinent information, including but not limited to location and features of guest rooms, distinguished guests, events within the city limits, etc.
Handle luggage transfers properly and promptly.
Maintain general knowledge of the area surrounding Boyne Highlands; gives directions clearly and concisely.
Answer all telephone calls properly, using appropriate scripts.
Maintain clean bell carts and porte-cochere entrance.
Maintain a clean, neat, well-organized work area, and be aware of and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Possess a thorough working knowledge of area activities and restaurants to inform guests and be able to offer recommendations.
Update all staff members on all resort activities and local attractions.
Maintain good working relationships with other departments, assisting them when necessary.
Scheduling of golf shuttles to other Boyne Resorts.
Possess organization and multitasking skills
Assist the director in hiring, scheduling, and training new members.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license
