Overview:

Schedule: PRN, candidates must be willing to work 7P-7A, the current need is night shift. Candidate can work 7A-7P around unit need, in addition to working nights. No set schedule or guaranteed hours.

Department:  Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum unit (LDRP)- RN's on this unit do both L&D and Mother/Baby. Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience for this PRN position. 

Location:  Kernersville Medical Center, Kernersville NC

Unit Info: This unit opened in March of 2024, it's a low risk, 12 bed LDRP unit. Patients labor, deliver & recover in the same room. This team consists of RN's, Surg Techs, Lactation Consultants, and a dedicated OB Anesthesiologist as well as a 24/7 neonatal NP and respiratory.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
