Devereux PA Children's Services (DPACS) is currently seeking a Onboarding Specialist (HR Specialist).   The position will be responsible to performs Human Resources related duties for onboarding of new employees, pre employment verifications and reference checks, and the creation of the new employee file. 

As a Onboarding Specialist everyday you will....

Facilitate the pre employment on-boarding process for all new employees

Process reference verifications 

Track and follow up on documents required from new employees to start

Provide on-barding updates to appropriate teams 

You will be offer:

Compensation: $56,222 /yr - $64,084 /yr

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS)  serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and  approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:  Bachelors degree and one year of People Operations experience required.  Professional in People Operations (PHR)

certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:  Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred. Must have the ability to

make recommendation to effective resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices,

policies, procedures, regulation or government law.  Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex,

difficult, and emotional issues.  Strong knowledge and understanding of insurance regulations, plan designs and third party record

keeping/administration required. Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations required. 

Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-

Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).  Strong organizational skills.  Excellent oral

and written communication skills.  Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and

adhere to established guidelines. 

Valid driver's license must be maintained.
