Overview:

Astral at Franklin is a vibrant senior living community in Franklin, Indiana.  We are a retirement community, offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are looking for a Dining Services Assistant to join our growing team!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve and handle food in accordance with sanitation regulations

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room and prep kitchen

Reset the dining room

Handle trays, equipment, tableware, and linens, in a proper and safe manner

Treat residents with dignity and respect

Open Shifts

Full Time and Part Time 

Required skills and qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Previous food experience a plus

Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Must enjoy working with the senior population
