Role: Financial Coordinator
Job Type: Non-exempt
Reports To: Doctor & Practice Manager
Description: Financial Coordinators are responsible for verifying insurance and benefits, submitting all claims for new and existing patients, and credentialing the practice with new insurances or existing in-network insurances when needed. They follow up with insurance companies to ensure processing/payments and identifies when a patient transfers out of discontinues treatment. They engage in relationship with each patient and ensure a special experience for each patient they touch.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Flexible Schedule
1-2 years recent experience in dental environment
Dental/Medical insurance verification, claims and credentialing experience required
Must be well versed in insurance terminology
Position requires heavy phone work and computer literacy
