Overview:
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Massage Therapist to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Massage Therapist will be responsible for performing all treatments and services as trained and required by the standards of the Spa and Hotel.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner
Communicate relevant information with superior communication skills and professionalism
Explain massage and body treatments, including techniques, benefits, and product used
Handle opening and closing procedures
Daily set up, stocking, cleaning of treatment rooms, and dispensary
Maintain a safe, sanitary and professional work area
Promote all treatments and products offered in the Spa & Salon
Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
Qualifications:
Aspire to our values of being passionate, strive for excellence, remain relevant, collaborate and act with honor and integrity
2 years of professional massage therapy experience
Valid State Massage therapist license
CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
Physical demands - Standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and half kneeling for cleaning. Lifting and carrying towels, carrying gallon container of product, and overhead reaching.
