About This Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Lead Advisor to join our team. As a Financial Lead Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial guidance and expertise to our clients. You will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, analyzing financial data, developing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Essential Tasks of the Financial Lead Advisor
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all financial
matters.
Conduct thorough financial needs assessments to understand clients' goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on portfolio performance, market trends, and recommended actions.
Financial Analysis and Planning:
Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluations, to assess clients' current financial status and identify areas for improvement.
Develop customized financial plans and strategies based on clients' individual needs and goals.
Provide expert advice on investment opportunities, asset allocation, risk management, tax planning, and retirement planning.
Investment Management:
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify suitable investment opportunities for clients, taking into consideration their risk profiles and investment objectives.
Monitor and review investment portfolios regularly, making adjustments as necessary to ensure alignment with clients' goals and market conditions.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' investments.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (with company support).
Implement effective risk management strategies to protect clients' assets and minimize potential financial risks with assistance from the Southern Wealth team.
Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation to demonstrate adherence to compliance requirements.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other members of the financial advisory team to share insights, best practices, and market knowledge.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior advisors, fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Financial Advisor or similar role
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
Evidence of building and maintaining successful client relationships, such as:
A personal book of business you built
Demonstrated experience managing another's book of business OR
A current network of contacts you can develop professionally
Professional certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) (preferred)
Valid securities licenses (Series 7, 66 or 63/65) and insurance licenses (preferred)
In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, retirement planning, tax regulations, and risk management principles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner
Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to pass a rigorous criminal background check
