Ed Morse is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Performing maintenance and repair work as specified on repair orders with efficiency, following dealership standards.
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning, according to specifications.
Providing accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
Clearly explaining mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service advisors and customers in a non-technical manner.
Continuously expanding your technical knowledge through formal training sessions to stay current with rapidly evolving technology.
Inspecting and testing vehicles, documenting findings to ensure all necessary repairs are completed.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid driver’s license
ASE Certified or currently attending course work at a credited school
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
