BJ's Restaurants is looking for a curious and motivated individual with strong analytical skills to join our Corporate Strategy team as an Analyst. The Analyst works within the Finance team to provide support to the C-Suite and to help support strategic decisions of the Company. This includes providing clear concise financial information and recommendations on key initiatives to the Executive team and business leaders. Responsibilities:

Work cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities in support of the company's key initiatives

Conduct financial analyses to determine the impact of various companywide initiatives including the introduction of new menus, menu items, limited time promotions, and more

Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and executive teams, clearly communicating complex data in an understandable way for informed decision-making.

Identify areas for improving processes and reducing costs across the chain

Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, growth opportunities and internal performance

Partner with department leaders on ad-hoc requests and sales driving initiatives

Quantify the ROI of various sales driving initiatives and programs

Prepare financial analysis for quarterly earnings calls and Board of Directors meetings

Develop and/or improve company processes and financial reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required

Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Experience using BI tools a plus (Tableau, Power BI, Dossier in MSTR)

Experience in the restaurant, retail or hospitality space is a plus

Flexibility to work in an agile environment with changing priorities

Be able to think outside the box and problem solve

Self-starter who takes the initiative and challenges the status quo

Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Have a natural curiosity about the business and be comfortable questioning things that do not make sense

Pay Range:

USD $80,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
