Kickr Design is looking for an exceptionally talented, driven and detail oriented Mechatronics engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for new product development and manufacturing equipment design, is capable of juggling multiple projects at one time while maintaining excellent organization and can demonstrate an ability to quickly and creatively solve problems. The position also requires an individual that owns his/her projects, works well in teams and interacts with clients. You will be working closely with Designers, Engineers, Customers and Vendors to make sure that all projects are on-schedule and run as smoothly as possible.

The ideal candidate will be excited to contribute to a positive motivating work environment while helping to support the team and continue to grow our very strong design and engineering team.

This role will focus on contributing to our new product development projects as well as our industrial equipment design/automation projects. In depth knowledge of the new product development process, and the industrial equipment industry is key to this role along with the ability to advise our customers on efficient and effective approaches.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering

5+ years Mechanical Engineering experience and/or Electrical Engineering Experience

Electrical and Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices and techniques

knowledge and experience with electrical product design including PCB design, analog electronics, and digital electronics

Kickr Design is looking for Mechatronics Engineers who can deliver on the following:

Conceptualization & CAD of products, assemblies, and components

Excellent Solidworks capabilities

Industrial equipment design tailored to client needs

Ability to deeply understand client/user needs and advise on relevant recommended approaches

Part prototyping via CNC, laser cutting, 3D printing, breadboarding, and other methods

Document and communicate progress with team and customers, maintain project schedules and timelines

Develop positive working relationships with vendors and clients

Nice to have

PLC programming experience is a plus

PCB design and Altium experience
