Beltway Companies, the largest commercial truck dealership in Maryland, is excited to announce an entry-level opportunity for Diesel Technicians in Baltimore, MD. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients, employees, and communities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and foundation in diesel engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As an entry-level Diesel Technician, you'll have the chance to learn and grow while performing a range of tasks, including:
Inspection and lubrication of diesel engines.
Checking cab, frame, front axle, steering gear, and springs.
Brake system maintenance and repairs.
Clutch, transmission, and differential servicing.
Engine tune-ups, electrical inspections, and testing.
Trailer repairs and diagnostics.
Compiling complete parts lists.
Repairing damaged areas to industry standards.
Preparing surfaces for refinishing and color-matching paint.
Requirements
2 or fewer years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field; more experience is a plus.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Basic knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair techniques.
Ability to work with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
