Job Description
Reporting to the Logistics Manager and Yard Site Manager the CDL-A End Dump Driver will be responsible for preparing, loading, and unloading, securing materials to the designated locations.
Essential Duties: Operate vehicle in accordance with Ecology Recycling Services LLC., Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act), DOT (Departments of Transportations) as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
Report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to dispatch.
Report service problems, blocked containers, or any potential safety hazards.
Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to dispatch.
Ensure that equipment is kept in a good operating condition.
Perform assigned duties on roll of delivery and hauling routes.
Communicate any customer request with dispatch.
Collaborate with managers to drive projects enhancing productivity and performance without compromising quality and safety.
Complete and submit work orders and driver logs as required.
