Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Program Manager to provide proven, industry leading capabilities to our customer. The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate the customers aviation program including engineering requirements and conduction operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple engineering projects and operational activities.

Examples of duties include but not limited to:

Project Leadership: Lead and manage aviation projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget, maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives, and acts as a technical liaison with vendors.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners to align project objectives and deliverables.

Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency across projects.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.

Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor project progress to ensure objectives are met.

Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and implementing lessons learned in future projects.

Financial Controls: Responsible for all phases of the program budget and monthly Program Management Reviews. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance and develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Word, etc.).

Ability to manage multiple projects and operational tempos simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven experience (5+ years) in program or project management within the aviation or like industry.

Prior customer experience

TS/SCI adn active polygraph

10 years of Program Management

Target Salary Range:

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
