This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of our Phoenix office.

Responsibilities:
The Global Fund Banking Portfolio Management Analyst is responsible for critical risk management functions for the Global Fund Banking lending portfolio. Core responsibilities include timely tracking and validation of expected statements from borrowers, updating information on our collateral in a proprietary database, checking loan outstanding balances to ensure balances do not exceed maximums and monitoring accounts for certain triggers. Most importantly, this individual plays a key role in ensuring our tracking of borrower compliance is accurate, complete and up to date.
The role also provides an entry level opportunity where the candidate will have broad perspective across the division along with regular interaction across all the Fund Banking sales teams, Fund Banking operations, as well as multiple groups throughout SVB.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of professional office/banking experience or High School diploma/GED with 2 years of experience
Preferred:
Proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis in SharePoint Online - experience pulling and analyzing data for reporting purposes
An ability to escalate issues and follow-up appropriately
Strong organization and analytical skills in addition to the ability to work independently
Strong critical thinking, proactive and desire to collaborate with team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with business partners, leadership and clients on email and phone
Strong ability to multi-task job functions on high volume days, attention to detail
Can develop strong working relationships with internal teams
