Are you ready to take on exciting challenges and help support world class technology for our Armed Forces?  We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to monitor and maintain inventory, research problems and tracks orders, maintain databases, and perform physical count of inventory. This role receives, unloads and distributes goods as well as packs and ships product to ensure no damage.  This role also documents and processes returns.

Responsibilities:

Prepares assembly kits to meet pre-scheduled release dates using pick list. Selects stock, checks vendor date code (when required), PDR level and quantity issued.  Delivers completed assembly kits to Central Dispatch area and updates work order status to Kitted (K) or Kitted Short (KS).

Interfaces with stockroom and production personnel to resolve any materials shortages.

Re-labels stock to reflect changes.

Partakes in monthly cycle counts to ensure that our records are accurate. Checks actual stock against amounts recorded. Notifies team leader or supervisor of unresolved discrepancies.

Receives materials/supplies and counts to verify that quantity received matches receiving document. Records receipt of material on-line to ensure timely updates to inventory.

Fulfills material shortages upon receipt of material.

Ensures that all required materials are properly identified with safety stickers in conformance with Company and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school

This is considered an entry level role encompassing the first two years of work experience

Willingness to handle and count parts, materials, etc

Willingness to learn other areas of the warehouse including working under a microscope

Able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds

Able to stand for long periods of time

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

PREFERRED:

1 year experience inventory control

Experience using Oracle or SAP

Forklift certified

Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

Experience with scales, taping and boxing, etc.

Strong preference given to those who have worked in Aerospace or Defense Industry

Hourly Range: $18.53 - $22.89 hourly (Lansdale, PA). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
