Responsibilities:
The role of the Human Resources Compliance Auditor has a deep understanding of HR compliance standards and requirements, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Conduct AuditsPerform regular and adhoc audits of HR processes, records, and systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures
Review PracticesEvaluate current HR practices and procedures, identifying areas of risk or non-compliance and recommending improvements
Documentation and ReportingPrepare detailed reports of audit findings and compliance issues, presenting them to HR leadership and other relevant stakeholders
Training and SupportProvide training and support to HR staff and management on compliance-related issues and best practices
Regulatory MonitoringStay current with changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring that the organization remains compliant and implementing necessary changes
InvestigationsParticipate in investigations into compliance matters or complaints, such as identity theft matters, documenting findings and supporting the resolution
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance, auditing, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations related to employment matters
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Exhibits meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the role to ensure accuracy and compliance
Ability to analyze complex data and information to identify issues, trends, and solutions
Agile and responsive to changes in laws, regulations, and organizational needs
Works effectively with HR teams and other departments to facilitate compliance and improve practices
This is a hybrid position based in Brentwood, Missouri. In-office days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Work from home Mondays and Fridays.
