Position:

A Private Wealth Advisor team within our Global Family Office business is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing team as a Trust and Estate Specialist. The team member will work with our Private Wealth Advisor team members and will interact directly with high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will be the face of the practice and is thorough in their work, operates with a high attention to detail, has strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills, and is driven to develop and grow in their role.

Responsibilities:

Review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare proxies.

Attend client meetings to discuss and explain estate and/or trust administration and fiduciary duties involved.

Facilitate distributions from estates, and testamentary and living trusts and coordinate with beneficiaries.

Review insurance policies including whole/term life and long-term care.

Assist with elder care conversations and general planning.

Complete daily tasks and assignments independently in a timely manner to meet deadlines and assist in keeping team members, outside advisors, and clients on task and updated.

Work closely with the internal Rockefeller Family Office and manage relationships with external advisor partners.

Provide ongoing support to the team and clients by multitasking, organizing, and anticipating needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5+ years relevant Estate Administration experience supporting a legal practice required.

Expert ability to prioritize and manage tasks from inception to completion while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the entire estate planning/administration process.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse attorneys, staff, and clients with empathy and tact while safeguarding confidentiality when necessary.

Enthusiastic, articulate, a quick study, friendly, dependable, punctual, accurate, and a team player.

Ability to evaluate information from bank, brokerage, and other financial statements

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
