Responsibilities:
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
Qualifications:
Required:
Strong Phlebotomy/Venipuncture skills.
Graduate from an approved school of practical nursing.
Current State of Georgia or Multi-state/compact professional license.
Current, valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (CPR and AED) Program card.
Preferred:
Intravenous (IV) lines, catheters and port experience.
Previous experience in specialty area or acute care environment.
Work Hours::
8:30-5:00
Weekend Requirements::
No
On-Call Requirements::
