This exciting role will develop menus and drive the resident dining program, be the primary driver of Sodexo's internal food service management software-DRIVE and be highly involved with the training and development of culinarians and service staff.

Our successful leader will manage back of the house and provide culinary direction including menu planning, program execution and training and mentoring our frontline hourly team to develop our next generation of salaried managers. The budgeted salary is $67,000 - 70,000 plus extensive benefits.

A strong culinary background - having 3 - 4 years experience in high volume dining:  restaurant, university or healthcare

Enthusiasm for learning - with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends and maintain the highest of culinary standards

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

Strong coaching and employee development skills

Have a passion for food and innovation

Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting

Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented

Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations

Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance

Manage the daily food production including production planning, compliance and controls
