How you make a difference:

The Human Resources Generalist oversees and coordinates human resources functions including recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee relations, benefits administration, and other areas as needed.  Helps coordinate and schedule new hires for new employee orientations.

Key Responsibilities:

Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances and performance issues, providing coaching, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Oversee staff development and training, including communicating opportunities and ensuring accurate training records and timely onboarding.

Drive employee retention through recognition programs and special events, while coordinating with unemployment vendors and managing separation information.

Review pre-boarding documentation, assist with background checks, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting efforts and career fairs.

Partner with leadership to manage staffing needs, position control, and open requisitions in the ATS system.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

Required: Associate’s degree.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in human resources.

Experience

Required: Two (2) years of experience in human resources.

Required: Experience working with an HR Information System (HRIS) and/or an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Preferred: Experience working in a healthcare setting.
