As a POOLHOUSE Account Executive, you’ll manage projects for the advocacy team who are communicators and advisors for our corporate and advocacy clients. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Advocacy team, and jump headfirst into managing the day-to-day client needs, collaborating with a diverse group of creatives, designers, strategists, and producers, while shepherding our strategic initiatives from start to finish to provide our clients with the highest value.
Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys:

An organized work environment, but still likes surprises and breaks from the routine
Learning about a wide range of organizations and issues
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Assist the Advocacy Director in scoping, defining, estimating, and managing projects and timelines for advocacy clients
Overseeing client programs from conception to completion by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadlines are met both internally and externally
Help foster relationships with clients through responsive communications
Manage your own workflow according to set procedures and timelines including juggling multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities in the context of agency and client expectations
Manage and participate in internal feedback and quality control for all deliverables
Draft briefs for both internal and external audiences
Requirements
3+ years of experience
Strong communication skills both written and verbally
Willingness to learn new things and new ways of doing things
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining order
Ability to adapt to new situations and solve problems on the fly with a team
A shared passion and curiosity for making change and a commitment to quality that ensures we’re always making progress
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to occasionally work long hours, occasional weekends, and travel when necessary
Ability to work in person in our DC office
