Overview:
Alera Group is looking for a Commissions Associate to join our Weatlh Services, Insurance and Retirment Plan Services divisions. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.
Responsibilities:
As a Commissions Associate, you will be part of a growing team dedicated to the support of Alera’s Wealth Services, Insurance, and Retirement Plan Services divisions.
Troubleshoot and research compensation inquiries for Financial Advisors
Facilitate updates and changes in Xtiva (Sales Performance and Incentive Compensation Tool) such as building new compensation splits and updating advisor payout percentages
Document management activities including retrieval and processing of 401(k) and Insurance statements as well as uploading documentation to our archive database
Participate in payroll closure and reporting
Monitor incoming mail for compensation checks and process accordingly
Processing of checks and invoices for Financial Planning clients
Pull ACH bank transactions
Contribute to additional support activities as needed
Qualifications:
Undergraduate college degree required
3 or more years of relevant, hands-on experience in a commission processing role, supporting advisors in the Wealth Management and/or Retirement Plan Services fields
Proficiency with Xtiva or other leading fee and commission billing software required
