Position Overview:

NLC's Training Specialists uphold the integrity of the educational methods and ensure that NLC core values are being met.  By acting as a mentor, they will improve the life of our students who will in turn improve the lives, the industries we serve, and the country.  This position holds the training we deliver in such high regard that they will continually inspire others to excel and succeed, which will ensure only "First Choice" students are introduced to all internal and external customers of our industry. 

*ON-SITE POSITION

*MUST RESIDE LOCAL TO CAMPUS/ RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

*UP TO 30% TRAVEL REQUIREMENT W/ THIS ROLE

*$5,000 SIGNING BONUS ISSUED TO NEW HIRES WHO ARE FLUENT IN SPANISH + ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES AVAILABLE FOR SPANISH SPEAKING ASSIGNMENTS

In this position you will have the opportunity to::

Conduct field and classroom training.

Prepare for knowledge and skill delivery each term in a proactive manner.

Maintain updated and current knowledge on all programs and catalogs. 

Identify short falls and provide solutions ensuring the campus is always ready to deliver training. 

Work with leaders to identify and resolve areas of improvement and set professional goals. 

Identify and recommend different approaches to training sessions, such as new materials, methodologies, and activities to enhance the learning experience of our students. 

Behave in a way that encourages and inspires students and co-workers and contributes to a work environment that promotes teamwork and respect. 

Represent a “What’s best for the student?” mindset. 

Required Education & Experience:

High School diploma or GED.

Journeyman lineman (certificate of completion of formalized apprenticeship program required).

CDL with good driving record (must be insurable).

Technical Requirements/ Core Competencies:

Passion for training with ability to effectively train others in a classroom and field environment.

Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications (climbing, CPR, First Aid).

Demonstrated proficiency in all program and course compentencies.

Knowledge of and/ or certifications in regulations applying to craft trades (OSHA, NECS, etc.)

Proficient in the use of computers with ability to easily learn and navigate new software.

Salary:

$121,617 annual salary ($58.47 hourly equivalent), with opportunity for growth in our technical educator progression program.

$5,000 Signing bonus issued to new hires who are fluent in Spanish + additional incentives available for Spanish speaking assignments

Includes outstanding benefits package and relocation assistance.
