Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting the dentists under a Dental Operating Microscope during the examination and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Record patient charting and dentist's notes in digital patient charts.
Take X-rays and CBCT scans.
Provide four-handed chairside assistance to the dentist under a Dental Operating Microscope during procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and equipment.
Instruct patients on post-operative care and general oral health.
Conduct follow-up calls to patients regarding their treatment.
Collaborate with dental and front office team to ensure the dentist’s schedule runs efficiently.
Adhere to infection-control policies and procedures in accordance with state guidelines.
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist with daily, weekly and monthly operatory cleaning and equipment testing.
Contribute productively to the team and excel as an individual contributor.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Dental Assistant experience
Knowledge of dental practice and procedures preferred
Knowledge of dental radiographs
Knowledge of dental software programs
