Main Job Responsibilities:
Provides excellent, professional customer service
Wraps and displays all fresh cut meat and seafood products
Ensures accurate weighing and labeling of all fresh cut, prepackaged and frozen meat and seafood products
Displays and rotates products according to PCC standards
Maintains proper signage, pricing and labeling
Demonstrates good organizational skills
Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
Assists meat department coordinator and meat department staff as needed
May place orders as directed
Handling equipment including hand wrapping station, automatic wrapping station, pricing and labeling scales
Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
Able to identify cuts of meat, fish and poultry
Previous experience in meat wrapping and handling preferred but willing to train
Demonstrates good organizational skills
Basic reading and math skills in order to understand and follow recipes
Must have initiative and be dependable
Must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
Must be able to meet physical demands including constant walking, squatting, standing, bending, twisting, reaching over-and-under, repetitive motion and lifting up to 60lbs. regularly
A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
Must be at least 18 years of age

Additional $1.25/hour Night Differential when applicable. Vacation pay.
