Job Description:

Monitors, guides, and works with team to meet production targets.

Ensures that work is completed and tracked according to plant production goals. Instructs and trains new team members. Monitors parts and materials within the department and expedites when needed to ensure necessary supply. Provides leadership in applying lean manufacturing and safety best practices. Applies IT solutions as needed for tracking, monitoring, and documenting.

Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires 1-3 years related experience.

Thorough working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing and distribution processes. Able to read tape measure, perform calculations, and write legibly. Reads and interprets specifications and assembly schematics. Basic ability to effectively coach and influence others while socializing/reinforcing the appropriate functional/operational direction. Effective verbal communication. Displays sound judgment and leadership. Working knowledge of IT solutions. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
