Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. BSN, preferred.
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience: Team 1 (Specialty/CCU): Min 2 yrs in critical care or ED setting. Team 2 (Inpatient Acute) - Min 1 yr general Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience, required.
Team 3 (Women's Svcs): Min 2 yrs in L&D, Post-partum, or NICU. All Teams require Cardiac Dysrhythmia test or successfully complete the Cardiac Dysrhythmia course within 6 months of hire, required.
Licensure/Certification: Current compact RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required .
Additional skills required: Specialty Certification, Chemo Certification, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, Triage Course, NRP.
