Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required.  Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists.

Experience:  Previous work in a medical setting, Preferred.

Licensure/Certification:  Curren  t certification as CMA or RMA, Required.

Additional Skills (required):  Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
