About Us
This is a small, independent day school dedicated to providing specialised education for autistic children and young people, aged 4-19. They are committed to delivering tailored, behaviour-analytic teaching that meets the unique needs of each pupil across Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form levels.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the school, providing key administrative support to both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities of an administrative officer

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school, ensuring efficient daily operations.
Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
Maintain pupil records and handle sensitive information confidentially.
Assist with staff scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office management.
Handle inquiries from parents, visitors, and external agencies in a professional manner.
Support the leadership team with administrative tasks related to pupil admissions, school events, and reporting.
Perform general office duties such as filing, ordering supplies, and managing school communications.What We Are Looking For in an administrative officer

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in using office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
A warm and professional demeanour, comfortable interacting with a range of stakeholders.
Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational or care setting.
