GSL Education are looking for a dedicated PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) Teacher to join a supportive school in Tunbridge Wells. If you have the enthusiasm to engage students in personal, social, health, and economic education, this role is perfect for you.

Job summary:

As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a key role in guiding students through important topics such as health and well-being, relationships, and social responsibility. You will design and deliver lessons that encourage students to think critically, make informed decisions, and develop into well-rounded individuals.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons that meet the national curriculum requirements.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe to express their thoughts and opinions.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Encourage active participation in discussions, helping students develop communication and critical thinking skills.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in teaching PSHE at secondary school level.
Ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
A passion for supporting students' personal growth and well-being.
An updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
