Rotherwood Education are seeking an Arabic speaking Primary Teacher experienced in Early Years and KS1, to join a well-established, forward thinking primary school in Blackburn. This position is for one year starting ASAP.

Duties will include:

* teaching all areas of the primary curriculum;

* taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils;

* organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment;

* planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class;

* motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;

* maintaining discipline;

* preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development;

* meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development;

* providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupil's progress at parents' evenings and other meetings;

The ideal candidate will be able to:

* Provide details of at least two referees covering the last 5 years' work history

* Possess a current criminal record check (Enhanced DBS certificate that is registered with the online update service) or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration

* Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people

* Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks
