We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic London borough council, committed to fostering sustainable growth and enhancing community wellbeing. Our client is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support capital works and contracts, providing expert advice to ensure continuous improvement across council services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Collaborate with the Senior Health & Safety Advisor to develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety Management Systems.
* Provide professional health and safety advice across multiple departments, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices.
* Promote a positive safety culture, influencing operational effectiveness across the organization.
ABOUT YOU:
* Hold a Level 6 Qualification in H&S (or working towards) and CertIOSH (or equivalent professional membership).
* Proven experience in capital works and contracts, with strong problem-solving abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and ability to provide competent advice.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office for efficient task management.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
