Position: Web Developer
Location: Yellow Box Marketing, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 2NB
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £27,500 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, office-base

This position is with a growing agency in Stockton-on-Tees, providing creative web development solutions for clients across a range of sectors. The client is expanding their team and looking for an innovative Web Developer to join.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop bespoke websites across a variety of industries, from brochure sites to large-scale eCommerce platforms.

* Integrate online booking systems and custom functionality into websites.

* Translate client briefs into creative, user-friendly designs.

* Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to plan, design, and implement projects.

* Build websites using the WordPress CMS, including custom front-end development using Advanced Custom Fields and a range of plugins.

* Assist with the transition of eCommerce sites from WordPress to Shopify, expanding your skill set in Shopify development.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

* WordPress development experience, including custom theme design and plugin integration.

* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

* Demonstrable portfolio of past projects.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.

* Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) best practices.

Desirable Skills (Not essential):

* Experience with Shopify development.

* Familiarity with the Laravel framework.

* Knowledge of Google Analytics for tracking website performance.
