Civil CAD Technician – Exeter
£25,000 - £40,000
A highly regarded Civil and Structural Engineering practice requires an experienced Civil technician with a portfolio centred around highways and drainage.
Responsibilities include:
Producing detailed infrastructure drawings and models
Liaising with clients and contractors
Attending design team meetings
Learning to use cutting edge BIM software such as Civils 3d and microdrainage
Working closely with and assisting the Senior Engineers
Mentoring junior members of staff and distributing work accordingly
This practice covers traditional engineering sectors such as; education, residential, commercial and healthcare. However, they are recognised for their contemporary yet historically in keeping designs.
Essential Criteria:
Excellent construction knowledge
Extensive drainage design experience
Highway design
Experience producing flood risk assessments
Excellent knowledge of the design process and design office experience
Proficient with AutoCAD
Proactive
Successful candidates will be required to engage with clients and build relationships, so a willingness to do this is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known business in the South West.
