SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted! 🌟

Are you a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference? We are seeking dedicated individuals with hands-on professional and/or personal experience in managing challenging behavior to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Greenwich. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

If you have extensive experience in managing challenging behavior and a background in working with children with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, we want to hear from you! Youth mentoring experience is also a plus. This full-time role runs from Monday to Friday and offers fantastic career progression opportunities within the educational sector.

Daily Duties:
- Support students with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD in a PRU setting, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Implement behavior management strategies to effectively address and manage challenging behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create tailored learning plans for students in a Secondary School environment.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Assist in the development of social skills and emotional regulation techniques for students with SEMH.
- Maintain accurate records of student behavior and progress, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in working with challenging behavior.
