Teaching Assistant
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to work in one of our mainstream Secondary Schools in Lancaster. The role is full time Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30 pm working as a class Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 3/4 additionally you may be required to do some 1-2-1 intervention session with literacy and numeracy with several students.
The role is to start ASAP ongoing until further notice.
As a person-centred Teaching Assistant, you will be a dynamic, forward thinking and pro-active team player, with passion and commitment to holistically supporting pupils and in the afternoons doing individual 1-2-1 intervention session Maths and English with several students.
In this teaching Assistant roles, your primary areas of responsibility will be to:
Encourage the development of positive attitudes to learning and behaving through well-planned support.
Have a creative and innovative approach to understand and supporting to re-engage disaffected learners in education and overcome barriers to learning.
Support on a 1-2-1.
Be aware of Safeguarding and Behaviour policies of the settings you work in and adhere to the policies at all times.To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:
