Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Swadlincote
Salary: £12.50 per hour + £60 per sleep-in
Our client is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join their 4-bed service, supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Swadlincote. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people in a rewarding and dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children in a safe, structured environment
* Encourage positive development and independence through tailored activities and routines
* Work closely with the team to implement care plans and ensure the well-being of the children
* Participate in a rolling shift pattern, including sleep-ins, providing 24-hour care when needed
Shift Pattern:
* Rolling rota of 1 day on, 2 days off, including sleep-ins
* Shifts operate between 9:30 am to 11:00 pm
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Children’s Care (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence
* Commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young people
Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour
* Sleep-ins paid at £60 per night
