Primary School Teacher (Year 2) - Long-Term Opportunity in Woolwich, South East London

AAA SOLUTIONS, a leading recruitment agency, is excited to offer a long-term opportunity for a Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and dynamic school in Woolwich, South East London. This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, teaching Year 2 within Key Stage 2, and shaping their academic progress.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated, qualified teacher to plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the curriculum for Year 2 students. The role requires strong organisational skills, a passion for education, and the ability to engage young minds in a creative and nurturing environment. You will be expected to develop and follow lesson plans in line with the national curriculum, while also tailoring your teaching approach to meet the needs of individual students.

This position is for the remainder of the academic year, with the contract running until the end of July 2025, and offers the exciting potential for the role to become permanent. Key Responsibilities:

* Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons for Year 2 pupils that meet curriculum standards.

* Collaborating with other staff members to support pupil development and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

* Maintaining strong communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and any challenges.

* Ensuring that the classroom is a safe, stimulating, and positive space for all students.

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have taught in UK schools.

* Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 2.

* A proven ability to plan, mark, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.

* Strong classroom management skills, ensuring that all pupils are supported in achieving their best.

* An adaptable and positive attitude, ready to contribute to the wider school community.

Salary and Benefits:

* Daily rate of £140 - £230, depending on experience and qualifications.
