Housekeeping Assistant, Yeovil, starting from £11.44 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Sunday rota basis.
We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team working with the NHS in Yeovil. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and maintaining the premises, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, to ensure a clean and organised environment.
Sanitising restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors, to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for all.
Regularly emptying trash bins and replacing liners to maintain cleanliness and prevent odours.
Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure a sparkling appearance and enhance the overall presentation of the premises.
Following established safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all.
To be successful in this role, previous experience in professional cleaning is preferred but not required. However, attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial. Flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, is required. Overtime, Saturday, and Sunday work will be compensated with premium rates.
