RBH currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Co-ordinator to join our Procurement team, working within the Finance and Procurement Team.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of procurement support to teams, colleagues and stakeholders and will offer advice and guidance on how and when to procure to achieve the best result.

In this role you will lead and manage the procurement exercises, tender processes end to end, and facilitate the processes on the procurement e-portal. You’ll contribute to the development of strategy, policy and guidance documents, and demonstrate experience of managing compliant procurement processes from stakeholder engagement all the tway through to contract award in a public sector, this will also include formally drafting contracts.

Who are we looking for?

* Experience in operating a comprehensive compliant procurement service to an organisation, ideally a public sector organisation, in Social Housing.

* You will hold a CIPS Level 6 (or working towards).

* Equivalent qualification to graduate or professional level.

* Fluent in spoken and written English.

* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

* Demonstrate excellent time keeping and a strong work ethic.

* Experience of running and managing a full end to end procurement tender process, as well as experience in drafting post tender contract documentation.

* The ability to find innovative solutions and to adapt and prioritise deadlines with competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* A good knowledge and understanding of the requirements of current public sector procurement legislation & best practice.

* Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, colleagues and partner agencies.

* The ability to demonstrate a commitment to customer focused service provision, and to act as a representative for RBH when dealing with suppliers and other external bodies.
