Academics are working closely with a supportive school based in Harlow, Essex that are on the lookout for dedicated and driven Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a temp to perm basis starting October 2024!

** Primary - Mainstream
** Harlow, Essex
** Temp to perm contract
** £83.33 - £110 per day
** October 2024 start
** Monday to Friday (8:30am - 16:00pm)
** Excellent CPD and progression
** On site parking

Your role and responsibilities:

** Supporting children with mild to moderate SEN including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Delay, Communication and Social interaction issues, mild behaviour issues.
** Working with small groups of children on a 1:1 basis to ensure progression in their learning.
** Provide a calm and interactive approach to ensure children feel motivated during lessons.
** Promote progression and celebrate the small wins, so that children feel motivated at all times.

Specification/ Qualifications:

** Recognised Speech and Language degree or equivalent
** BSL Degree or equivalent
** Good knowledge of SEN
** Previous experience in similar role
** Passion for working with children with SEND
** Calm, patient and resilient approach
** Work well as team and on own initiative
