Job Title: Technical Project Coordinator
Location: Hybrid working (Client based in Barlborough)
Contract: Permanent Full Time


The role of Technical Project Coordinator
Our client, who provides IT Support services to businesses, is looking for a "hands on" Technical Project Coordinator who will be responsible for the resourcing, scheduling, and governance of a broad scope of small to medium sized projects. This is a full time, permanent role based at our client's office in Barlborough initially, then you will split your time between the office and remote working.

About You
Our ideal candidate will come from a technical background and have direct experience of Microsoft 365, Azure Networking, Sharepoint and Cyber Security Support as well as demonstrated knowledge of full project life cycle. You will be innovative and identify smarter ways of working through post project analysis and new technologies. To be successful you will also need superb organisation, communication, and relationship building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate and schedule project resources based on project requirements and priorities to ensure they have the necessary skills and experience for delivering project outcomes
  • Implementation Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, and communicate them to the project team, client, and stakeholders
  • Assist in improving communication between the team, the client, and other departments. Responsible for driving continuous improvement of project management processes and practices
  • Change management: Establish and follow a clear process to document, approve, and communicate any project scope, schedule, budget, or quality changes
  • Project review: Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations, and identify and implement the lessons learned and best practices for future projects

Produce a weekly report for the Senior Leadership Team, summarising the project team workload and lead time.

Skills required:

  • Ideally you will have 2 years of experience working in a Technical Project Coordinator role.
  • Enhance communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Ability to facilitate a diverse workload and work calmly under pressure with an organised and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Reporting and documentation of project progress, risks, issues, and lessons learned
  • Demonstration of project management best practices and standards, as well as compliance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of MSP would be advantageous
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methods, by sharing knowledge and lessons learned.
