Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Water Resources Project Engineer in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:
Work with a team of engineers and technicians in the successful completion of water resources projects
Design and prepare construction documents for stormwater management systems, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and erosion control plans
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
Develop stormwater management designs and prepare reports for clients and regulatory agencies
Coordinate with other design team members, subcontractors, and regulatory agency personnel
Review and interpret applicable codes, regulations, and standards
Perform project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Conduct engineering site visits and attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Provide technical support and mentorship to junior staff members
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Maryland, or ability to obtain within 6 months
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Water Resources Engineer
Strong knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
Familiarity with stormwater management regulations and best practices
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
