Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be a member of a small team involved in all aspects of design, verification, certification, testing, and support of Sense products in utility meters and energy infrastructure.

This position will be onsite at our Cambridge office, conveniently located in Central Square.

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in electrical engineering and collaborating with electrical engineering teams

Motivated to build and develop performant, world-class designs

Passionate about the energy sector and climate change

What you’ll do:

Design, simulation, and verification of RF switching and amplification subsystems

Simulate RF performance of designs using an RF simulator such as Ansys HFSS

Engineering support for design, layout, component selection, and manufacturing

Coordinate and work closely with internal firmware teams and our partners

Work in a fast-paced, agile, highly iterative development environment

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience as an electrical engineer

Great communication skills

Self-motivated with a desire to learn

BA/BS or masters degree in EE or relevant field

Demonstrated experience with RF design and simulation (2 - 6 GHz), including PCB transformers and antennas

Designed and simulated PCB antenna or couplers 

Switching power supply, microprocessor, and data acquisition experience is a plus
