Title: BOM & PO Coordinator
Reports to: Manager, Customer Service
Department: Operations
Responsibility Summary: ERP FG BOM creation and maintenance, including registry of components. Upload and maintain Customer “No-No” lists. Timely and accurate Customer PO review and entry. Attend, assist and document line trial results for all customers.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Constructs BOMs and Routings for new and modified Finished Goods (FGs) and WIP’s.
2. Customer Item Master R2 set up and maintenance.
3. Component Item Master setup.
4. Purchase order entry with price and lead time verification.
5. Develop and implement consistent descriptive nomenclature and categories for FGs, WIPs and Components.
6. Initiate Change Control (CC) related to FGs and WIPs.
7. Attend Gate-Review meetings as required in support of Manager of Customer Service.
8. Participate in line trial events as required.
9. Import and maintain customer No-No Lists into the EWL ERP system.
10. Create and maintain master price list.
11. Periodic review of Customer portal systems, looking for updates.
12. Other duties assigned by manager.
Requirements
1. 2 or 4-year business degree, plus 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment or
2. 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced filling/packaging environment.
3. Detail oriented, with superior organizational and communication skills.
4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
5. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
6. Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
